Your report will be sent directly to our maintenance team. They determine the order of execution on the understanding that chores are performed according to priority. A clogged toilet will be resolved faster than a loose bookshelf.
Yes, that's possible. By submitting a report, you have automatically agreed that the repair can be done, even if you are not present in your room.
The maintenance team will leave a note in your room when they have visited and you were not present.
Depending on the size of your student house, the communal kitchen is cleaned once or twice a week. The exact day differs per student house.
You are responsible for the maintenance of your own room, your own toilet, your own sanitary facilities and possibly your own kitchenette. There is a lot of lime in the tap water in Leuven. Therefore, use a decent anti-limescale product every week to clean your toilet and shower. Would you like however your room cleaned? No problem. Let us know by email and we will agree on an appropriate date and price.
No. The cleaning team is there to clean and not to clear all the mess and dishes first.
As in every family, we also sort our waste. In every student house there are seperate bins for PMD, residual waste and glass. Glass is brought to the glass sphere by the students themselves. The PMD and / or residual waste is put out by our cleaning team or by the students, depending on the building.
When you hear or see mice in your student house, make a report as soon as possible via the red report button. We will be there with a Rentokil specialist at every mouse notification. There is, however, a contract with Rentokil for each property to do preventive pest control. Unfortunately, this is no guarantee that it will remain 100% mouse-free. As a student, you are partly in control. When you leave crumbs lying around, don't put your waste in a closed bin or leave your window or door open, you lure these rodents.
