The dimensions of your bed can be found on this website under the 'room' page. Search for your student room and click on 'bed' under the facilities.
All communal kitchens are equipped with one or more microwaves and combi ovens, various hobs (no induction in Leuven, induction in Hasselt), refrigerator and extractor hoods. A communal freezer is provided in which every student has his reserved place.
The student house in Hasselt has its own bicycle storage. In Leuven, only the student houses of Bogaardenstraat, Willem de Croylaan and Parkstraat have their own bicycle storage. The others must use the public bicycle storages in the area.
If your student house is connected to the student internet, we can provide the wifi code. Just mail us and we will share a document in Rentio, containing the codes. These buildings are connected to the student internet: Vaartstraat 11, Lepelstraat 52b, Diestsestraat 92, Tiensestraat 61, Bogaardenstraat 93 en 95, Savoyestraat 9 en 11, Geldenaakse Vest 52, Rector De Somerplein 14, Naamsestraat 25, Willem de Croylaan 11.
If your are staying in Vaartstraat 11 or Naamsestraat 16 the student house is connected to the student internet, and you should consult the short manual that you will find on the 'Practical information' page. Still not working? Please contact the people of the student internet at support@smarteye.eu or on 09/395 60 00.
If you are staying at Parkstraat 138: Please check the document in the common room.
For all the other student houses including the student house of Hasselt, you can send an email to helpdesk@kotleven.eu.
Contact us or file a report. We will send you a new key as soon as possible. A new key costs 50 euros.
You must insure your belongings yourself. Usually the contents of a student room are insured through the family insurance of the parents. Be sure to check this carefully.
The student house in Hasselt is equipped with a lift, as are the student houses in Leuven at Vaartstraat 11 and Rector de Somerplein14. These lifts are not toys. Use them with respect.
