Which are the 6 golden rules?

Wash your hands regularly
Keep a distance of at least 1.5m, if this is not possible, then wear your mouth mask
Limit your close contacts
Preferably do your activities in the open air
Think about the vulnerable people
Follow the rules about meetings

Which corona measures are taken in my student house?

We recommend that you follow the measures imposed by the government. We have also made sure that every building contains alcohol gel so that you can disinfect your hands when entering. We trust that you simply use your common sense and do not invite outsiders in your room, do not lend glasses or plates and especially use your own linen.

What if I have symptoms in my student room?

When you have symptoms that may be consistent with Covid-19, you go into quarantine. If your condition permits, you will undergo a test as soon as possible. If you are concerned or have severe symptoms, please contact your doctor or phone the doctor from your student facility. When the result of your test is positive, they will initiate contact tracing. As a landlord, we work with the tracing team and provide them with the contact details of all roommates.

What if a roommate has symptoms?

Try to make him or her go into quarantine and let him undergo a test. If you have had a high-risc contact yourself with this person and the contact lasted over 15 minutes, the distance of 1.5 m was not respected and one of you did not wear a mouth mask, please go into quarantine yourself and have yourself tested. If you had a low-risc contact with this person and you are free of symptoms, then limit your social contacts and keep strictly to the 1.5 m distance rule.

Are there specific measures in Leuven?

Except for the general rules, there is also an obligation to wear a mouth mask in certain streets of Leuven. Look at the map here.
